With the advancement of COVID-19 across Canada, we’re implementing a temporary solution for mortgage document signing for client meetings until further notice. In cases where a face to face meeting isn’t possible and where the use of e-signatures is authorized by the province’s law society, we will accept e-signatures on documents.

When a face to face meeting may not be possible, we’ve implemented a dual method for ID verification. The Manulife Bank Identification Verification Form and Signature Card must be completed using two copies of valid identification that have been provided by the client.
