First steps
Activate your card
When you receive your ManulifeMONEY+™ Visa* Card in the mail, you have to activate it before you can use it. Call us at 1-844-859-4520 at any time and follow the automated prompts to activate your card.
Add additional cardholders
Adding another cardholder, such as a spouse or family member, is a great way to earn even more cash back rewards! You can add up to three additional cardholders to your credit card account. To add a cardholder, give us a call at 1-844-323-7053. You can speak to one of our friendly customer service agents 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET.
You may also be asked about adding a cardholder when you call to activate your card.
Manage your account
Register for online access
With online access, you can view your transaction history, view e-statements, set up alerts, and manage your account preferences.
To register, simply go to credit card online access and enter your credit card number and the security phrase found under Register Now, then follow the on-screen steps. The security phrase is the letters and numbers in the image displayed on the screen.
View your cash back rewards
Your ManulifeMONEY+ Visa cash back rewards are automatically redeemed four times a year. The amount will be automatically posted to your credit card account as Cash Back Rewards in March, June, September, and December. You'll see your rewards appear on your statement in the Transaction Details as a credit amount. Cash back rewards do not contribute to your minimum payment, but they do reduce your new balance for that period.
Go green with e-statements
You can quickly get set up to receive e-statements rather than paper statements. Once you’ve registered for credit card online access, sign into your account and select Statements from the left-hand menu, followed by Change Statement Preferences.
Customize alerts
You can set up customized alerts to receive notifications about your credit card account, such as if you have a bill due soon or how much credit you have available. We email these alerts to you so you can stay on top of your credit card activity.
Once you’ve registered for credit card online access, sign into your account and select Alerts from the left-hand menu, followed by Manage Alert Preferences.
Use your card and pay your bill
Contactless payment
Save time at the cash register when you use your credit card’s contactless payment feature. When you’re ready to checkout at a store that accepts contactless payment, simply hold your card against the payment terminal to complete the transaction and you’re all set.
You can also add your credit card to a mobile wallet—Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, Samsung Pay, or Garmin Pay™— on your smartphone or smartwatch. When you’re ready to pay, display your mobile wallet and select your credit card. Then, hold your device up to the payment terminal to complete the transaction.
With your credit card digitally stored in a mobile wallet, it’s also easier than ever to make purchases online or in other mobile apps.

Maximize your cash back rewards
To get the most of your card, you can set up your recurring bill payments and subscriptions like Netflix or Spotify using your Manulife Bank Visa card.
Download our mobile banking app
Get the Manulife Bank mobile app for your Android or Apple device. To use the mobile app to view information about your credit card, you will need a bank account or mortgage with Manulife Bank. You must have a debit card number to sign into the app. In the app, you can:
- Check your credit card balance
- See your transactions
- Get spending insights
- Pay your credit card bill
Pay your credit card bill
If you have a bank account or mortgage with us, you can set up Manulife Bank Visa as a payee using our online banking website or mobile banking app. You can also pay your bill using another bank’s branch, bank machine, or through their online banking website.
To make sure you never miss a payment, you can automatically make your minimum payment or pay the full balance each month. To set up automatic payments, you'll need to complete the ManulifeMONEY+ Visa Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement and send it to us with a void cheque or account information from your bank by fax or mail as indicated on the form.

Let us know about a lost or stolen card
If your credit card is missing, whether lost or stolen, please report it immediately by calling us at 1-844-323-7053. We will cancel your current card and send you a new one. We’re available 24/7 to help you with a lost or stolen card.
