How to pay bills in online banking │ Manulife Bank

Pay your bills in just a few simple steps.

Before your start…

Before you pay any bills, you need to add bill payees to your account.
If you get a new billing account with a company that’s already set up in your Manulife Bank account, check to see if the billing account number is the same. If it’s changed, you need to delete and re-add the bill.

Sign into online banking, click Bills in the left side menu, then click Pay bills.

All your bill payees will appear on this page. Select the bills you want to pay and click Next.

On this screen, you’ll enter a few key details for the payments:

The accounts you want to pay the bills from
The amounts you want to pay
The dates you want to pay the bills (these are the dates the money will come out of your accounts)

Once you’ve entered the payment details, click Next.

Review the details, make sure everything is correct, then click Confirm and pay. To make changes, click Back or Cancel.

If you set up ongoing payments, the money must be in your account the day before the payment is scheduled to be made.
If you schedule a payment for a weekend or holiday, it will be processed the following business day.
